MAHLE Behr Industry wins Siemens "Star for Mobility Rolling Stock" award
On April 12, the presentation of the Siemens Mobility Supplier Awards 2011 took place in Berlin. All 30 nominees for the six categories were invited to the ceremony.
MAHLE Behr Industry was nominated as one of the best suppliers for the "Competitiveness in Electrics & Services" category. A jury composed of representatives from Siemens Mobility Rolling Stock management, Strategic Purchasing and the relevant functional departments and business units selected the six Stars for Mobility Rolling Stock. MBI was able to successfully compete against 30,000 other suppliers in the aforementioned category and was awarded one of the six prestigious Stars.
In addition to the Star award the winners will be presented at the Siemens Mobility Rolling Stock locations in Erlangen, Graz, Krefeld, Munich and Vienna, plus they will be announced on the media and on the Siemens website. And the best suppliers will automatically be nominated for the company-wide Siemens Supplier Award.
