The quality of MAHLE Behr Industry's suppliers is the basis of the quality of MAHLE Behr Industry products, applications and services.

Relations with our suppliers that are based on partnership are for us an important prerequisite for the fulfilment of increasing quality requirements of our products as expected by our customers.

All quality guidelines and requirements of our suppliers are listed in the Quality Assurance Agreement (QAA) and the accompanying Quality Requirements for Bought-In Components. The latest version of our quality requirements is always available in our Internet portal for suppliers.

Comprehensive supplier care
New MAHLE Behr Industry suppliers must prove that they have a functioning quality management system for their product range. Quality audits by our quality assurance department ensure in advance that they are capable of delivering quality. As part of our project management suppliers are incorporated from the development phase and are supported and looked after from quality planning to process release.

Monthly assessments of the quality and timeliness of deliveries serve to determine the supplier's service level. Suppliers with quality weaknesses are given close support to help them to achieve a continuous improvement in the quality of their deliveries. Our top suppliers in terms of quality, timeliness, quality and pricing receive awards from Behr Industry and enjoy preferential treatment in future order placements.
