In addition to its Stuttgart headquarters, MAHLE Behr Industry is represented in Mylau, Reichenbach, and Freiberg in Germany, as well as in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, and in Tianjin, China. It also has sales offices in France, Spain, Great Britain, Italy, and Korea, as well as an international network of representatives, plus the use of the MAHLE and Behr Groups' worldwide networks.
Chronology of locations
1990: Behr Industrietechnik is founded in Stuttgart as a separate company and fully-owned subsidiary of Behr GmbH & Co. KG. Renamed Behr Industry in 2004, the company is responsible for cooling and air conditioning in nonautomotive industries. Following the acquisition of a 60-percent majority stake by MAHLE Industry GmbH in 2010, the company is renamed MAHLE Behr Industry GmbH & Co. KG. Stuttgart continues to be the headquarters of MAHLE Behr Industry with a payroll, including that of its Schwäbisch Hall service center, of over 300 employees.

1991: In Mylau, Saxony, MAHLE Behr Industry sets up a further location where rims and wheels for the motorcycle industry are developed and manufactured. In all around 70 employees work for MAHLE Behr Industry in Mylau.

2000: In September 2000, MAHLE Behr Industry inaugurates a modern production and administration facility in Reichenbach (Vogtland), which employs around 320 people.

Cooling and air conditioning systems for buses, construction and agricultural machinery, special vehicles, and the aviation industry, cooling systems for railway vehicles, gensets, wind and solar energy systems, and heat exchangers for refrigeration and air conditioning.
2000: In Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, MAHLE Behr Industry founds its U.S. subsidiary, MAHLE Behr Industry America L.P., to establish itself in markets outside of Europe. MAHLE Behr Industry employs around 78 people in Grand Rapids.

2004: In Freiberg, Saxony, MAHLE Behr Industry acquires KF Kühlerbau Freiberg GmbH, today operating as MAHLE Behr Industry Freiberg GmbH. The main products manufactured there are heat exchangers for the large engine and railway industries. In Freiberg, MAHLE Behr Industry has a payroll of around 100 employees.

2010: MAHLE Behr Industry founds a new location in Tianjin, China, thereby paving the way toward a successful presence on the Asian market. In the first stage, the location produces cooling systems for the railway industry. MAHLE Behr Industry employs more than 30 people in Tianjin.
