The processes and responsibilities defined in our management system for handling our customers' order projects ensure that-once the customer's requirements have been checked and converted into technical specifications for products and processes-the product is manufactured on time and according to the specified functional, cost, and quality criteria.
Project teams, headed by a project manager, implement customers' requirements. Right from the acquisition and tender preparation stage, technical and commercial feasibility is ensured by a coordinated approach on the part of the product manager (sales) and the project manager (technology).
The project manager provides the product manager with technical support in the enquiry and offer phase and is responsible for project implementation from industrialization to product verification to validation at the customer's site and successful startup of the product in series production. Appropriate and timely performance of the tasks by our specialist departments and the project manager assigned is the precondition for successful project management.
